Clean Air Day/School Street

We closed Wadeson Road
We shut Wadeson Road this afternoon for Clean Air Day, we have also been working hard to try and make Wadeson Road a school street making it safer around Medlock for our community.
Each year group got to come outside for 30 minute sessions and experience what it would be like to have a school street.
We were joined by Manchester City Council who got the students involved with planting seeds along with S4B our local housing office.
The children took part in many activities including games, junk building, planting seeds and writing pledges on how they are going to stop climate change with support from our eco councillors.
M13 Youth Project, a youth programme which has been in the community for 30 years this year also came along to do sports games!
Our community pioneer Daryl and our parent governor Aisha came along to help give out hygiene products to the community donated to us from the hygiene bank.
