Book Donation

We recently recieved a book donation from Awesome Books ![]()
Every child, from ages 2 to 11, had the chance to choose their own book, just like in a real bookshop. These donations mean far more than just books; for many pupils, they provide access to reading resources they might otherwise have very few of, if any at all.

Ruth Nutton-Jones, Deputy Head said "We are deeply thankful for this kindness, which supports literacy, imagination, and opportunity for every child in our school."

Do you ever wonder how much your child should be reading?
- Ages 2–5: 10–15 minutes of stories, songs, or picture books daily.
- Ages 5–7: 15–20 minutes of shared or independent reading.
- Ages 7–11: 20–30 minutes of independent reading, plus regular chats about what they're reading.
