Every child, from ages 2 to 11, had the chance to choose their own book, just like in a real bookshop. These donations mean far more than just books; for many pupils, they provide access to reading resources they might otherwise have very few of, if any at all.

• Ages 2–5: 10–15 minutes of stories, songs, or picture books daily.
• Ages 5–7: 15–20 minutes of shared or independent reading.
• Ages 7–11: 20–30 minutes of independent reading, plus regular chats about what they're reading.
